In 1996, a friend casually invited me to join a quilting class — and a passion was born! The one aspect about quilting that I love is the diversity of the medium. From simple piecing to appliqué or collage, the process is ever changing.  I tend to lean toward modern techniques with bold designs and  unusual color combinations and subjects. However,  I still enjoy the traditional methods which accent fine stitching and application.
