Randi Snidow
Randi (RJ) has creative roots stemming from her early teens when she studied art through a mail order instruction institute where her art was critiqued and encouraged. After graduating from high school, she entered the University of New Mexico, where she pursued an art degree. During the past 30 years, she has utilized her creativity by making costumes, such as seen in the 19th century production “Scrooge”, including hat making. Her works of animal art have been admired and sold throughout her lifetime. She loves focusing her attention on animals and silly kid portraits. A technique periodically used is that of melting oil pastels or using multiple layers of oil pencil & oil pastels to create the allusion of texture. Portrait subjects are often whimsical or contain some form of humor.
